Actually, it is not all Linux distros. Lindows (opps.. Linspire now),
has a method to install software easily. As for the Linux GUI being
better than Windows, I would not exactly agree on that.

Give Linux another year or two and they will have caught up with
Windows we have today (as long as they stick with a GUI and not
multiples). But, by that time, Microsoft will have propelled
themselves light years ahead with the release of Longhorn and it will
take Linux years more to catch up again..
