You remembered correctly, Stuart. Thanks.  I'm up and running. There's no want 
of stuff to read about Visual Studio 2005. Do you have any advice on where to 
start? (I feel pretty comfortable with Visual Studio 2003 and like C# best.)

  IIRC, the Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 Refresh setup prompts you for all the
  prerequisites such as .NET Framework. Check out the Beta's readme and just
  run the setup.
