Oops. Just realized that the Reporting Services trial is on a separate CD.

It looks like you have to have SQL Server 2000 SP3 and VS.Net 2003 already
installed before installing the Reporting Services CD.

So this should work OK after all.

If you have a licensed copy of SQL server then you already have a full
license for reporting services. It "comes" with SQL Server. You might
have to order a CD not sure if the evaluation copy will install on a
full version of the database. The catch is that it needs to be
installed on a WEB server so unless you want to run IIS on your SQL
server you will need another license of SQL server for your report
database.

I would like to install Reporting Services but I have a licensed copy of
SQL
Server installed.
I have the 120 day trial CD for SQL Server 2000 with Reporting Services.
This is my home machine, I don't have an extra test machine to try it
on,
unless I uninstall stuff from my laptop to make room.

Has anyone installed the trial version under these circumstances?
Can you install just the Reporting Services module and then uninstall
just
that?

I suppose it will force me to do a complete reinstall of the licensed
version when the trial ends.
