(503) 617-9491 arichard@xxxxxxxx Software Engineer This is and excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to join AZAD's team of professionals and contribute to developing and maintaining software applications and/or scripts in a VB environment. The AZAD consultant will also be responsible for translating requirements into computer source code using grammar and syntax of a programming language to achieve an algorithmic design and produce an automated workflow on a computer consistent with the requirements or specifications. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience: - Minimum of one to three years of demonstrated software engineering or development experience using the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) development environment. - Proven working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (Visual Basic Studio 6.0 and Visual Studio.Net), Visual Basic Scripting, Visual Basic Script Host. - Demonstrated knowledge of algorithmic development in terms of functions developed to solve computational problems in Visual Basic. - Experience of ActiveX Controls and code optimization are required. - Strong knowledge of formal software testing processes and procedures from test plan to test case development for validation and reliability. - Working knowledge of the software development cycle including planning, specification, testing, release and life cycle management. - Experience with Windows-based PERL or similar languages is a big plus. Responsibilities for this project will include: - Creating WinRunner and LoadRunner scripts to automate activities for the retrieval, validation, and loading of data to and from data structures. - Developing new and/or modifies/maintains existing data validation routines using Visual Basic. - Compiling source code and working with source code control and management. ** Must be a US Citizen.** Location: Portland, Oregon Software Engineer This is an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer to join AZAD's team of professionals and be responsible for writing API calls for a newly developed Software Development Kit (SDK). The ideal candidate must possess: - Strong working experience with VB.NET.
