I use this command in Windows, where I run also 'Climate prediction'
project when I've no Seti WU to crunch. With --project suspend on one
of your projects, you concentrate 100% of work on the other project.
Otherwise Boinc switch from one project to another every hour (or a
different chosen time).

Yes. It can be also used to reset something wrong in your
installation. On my PIII system I still have the error message that I
'may have an outdated verification code...' and they suggest to
detach/attach the project again. I did once, but I still have the same
message. When you detach, the project and all related files disappear
from your HD.

Yes. I use it when I know I've to boot W2K (or vice versa) so I don't
keep WUs waiting to be processed for days.
> What is the purpose of --project reset?
It deletes all files and work associated with a project and get new
work. I never used it. It's probably useful when something is wrong
with your work/files.

No idea, I had no time to investigate more on this Boinc project...
