Re: Using javascript to access Google Calendar data: msg#00249org.google.api.calendar
You can use the XMLHTTPRequest object to access your calendar. See http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/XML_Extras and http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/dhtml/reference/objects/obj_xmlhttprequest.asp for details. Be sure to use AuthSub authentification (See http://code.google.com/apis/accounts/Authentication.html) I have heard rumors that google is working on a javascript api for calendar, but they wont give out any details at current. I am using javascript to access google calendar, but my code will not work from a web page. With slight modification it could work from an extension though. Philipp |
