Thanks Frank.  I'm looking at the query requests protocol:
http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/protocol.html#query-requests but I'm
not seeing how to limit it to a date range (eg GDATAwhen values)  (I'm
not sure if updated-min, updated-max would work for seeing what dates a
calendar event falls on?)
