Any idea as to why the OpenSolaris packaged Python builds do not support
multiprocessing?

I'll try to get in contact with the OpenCSW python package maintainer and see
if there is anything that can be done from their end to enable semaphore
support. If that particular bug 3110 is still unpatched, I can see why there
would be trouble.

In any case, it sure would be nice if the OpenSolaris python packages supported
multiprocessing out-of-the-box.

Thanks,
