The box is a fresh install for the system part (I have install almost 
every build from snv75 up).
zfs is up-to date :

amber ~ # zfs upgrade
This system is currently running ZFS filesystem version 4.

All filesystems are formatted with the current version.
amber ~ # zpool upgrade
This system is currently running ZFS pool version 16.

All pools are formatted using this version.

postgres is the 8.4-community build
version string : PosgreSQL 8.4.0 on i386-pc-solaris-2.11, compiled by 
cc: Sun C 5.9 SunOS_i386 Patch 124868-07 2008/10/07, 64-bit
