[osol-discuss] zfs create -V and LDom disk image

Hi,

I followed the example to create a disk image using zfs on page 98 of the LDoms 
1.1 Admin guide and am running into issues.  I created and used them fine 
however the disk images expanded on their own causing all 8 LDoms to fail.  I 
managed to get a few of them back by decreasing the disk image on a few of 
them.  I then set quotas on the top level zfs area for the disk image.  My 
questions is what is the best way to prevent this from happening?  Why no 
mentioned of it in the manual?

Here is my sequence:

zpool create ldmpool
zfs create ldmpool/hostname-1
zfs create -V 99gb ldmpool/hostname-1/disk0

I only left a few gig free on ldmpool thinking the create -V was finite.  It 
appears to not be the case as one of the LDom disk0 went to 105GB filled up 
ldmpool and brought down all 8 LDoms.  What should I do to ensure that only 
99gb is allowed on disk0?  Below is the zfs list of the issue.  Note that 
dnagac08-1 expanded to 105G which filled up ldmpool.  I tried decreasing a few 
with volsize which at least allowed me to get the others working but the ones I 
decreased now panic and will have to be re-imaged.
