paths of installed packages

Hi,

I've just installed darwinports and had tried to install "yum". However, 
yum was installed into /opt/local/bin and although the line
"export PATH=$PATH:/opt/local/bin" is in ~/.profile
and
"set path=($path /opt/local/bin)" is in ~/.cshrc

i have to go to /opt/local/bin and type "./yum" to use it. Is there 
anything wrong?
