I correctly installed DarwinPorts on my Slackware Linux and I
created two Portfiles successfully (I seem and I hope :) but
I've got some questions to you.
Documentation says: "Create a working directory named ircII and
inside it create a file named Portfile..."
Where? Under darwinports/ ? Is the path important or not?
I'm asking it because I've got only this problem: destroot
installs software into a directory tree below in the work
directory, but my work/destroot/opt/local/ dir is empty!
Here is the verbose output:
---> Staging $portname into destroot
.: gid (10, 0, modified)
permissions (0775, 0755, modified)
.
.
.
DEBUG: Executing com.apple.destroot ($portname)
DEBUG: Assembled command: 'cd
"/home/rian/portname/work/portname-x.x.x" && make install
DESTDIR=/home/rian/portname/work/destroot'
.
.
.
DEBUG: Executing destroot_finish
---> Installing portname
DEBUG: Executing com.apple.install (portname)
I've all files of ported software in /opt/local/, all works but
is this correct?
My DP path is /home/rian/darwinports/
So, can I submit my two Portfiles or not? :-)
Thanks, ciao from Italy
