Hello and thank you for your assistance. I installed anacron and read
through the generic README (/opt/local/share/doc/anacron/README I do
believe) for anacron and, outside of modifying /etc/crontab, what else
does DP recommend me to do to get anacron working? I mention this
because the README makes light of me having to modify a startup boot
script to invoke anacron when I know a DarwinPortsStartup folder was
added to /Library/StartupItems. Does DP also recommend only setting
anacron to run at a certain time (say 08:30) or every hour (say xx:10)?
Thanks. I did do a quick search and did not find anything (through the
archives and through Google), so please forgive me if my question is
answered somewhere and it eluded me.
