I have had the EXACT same problem on the same machine as you.
OpenBSD  3.6 installs without a problem. I have been unsuccessful in
my attempts  to install 3.7.

As has been told by another poster on the list, disabling ohci via UKC
will prevent the problem from occuring.

This did not happen in 3.6 and before because the USB drivers were
disabled on alpha. A fix for the problem has been checked in, and the
next snapshots will be working out of the box.

Great news. I saw the reply to the other poster. I'll be waiting for the update, since I am unable to disable ohci in UKC. Thanks for your reply.
