Alphastation 600 5/333, sk0 works: msg#00002

Subject: Alphastation 600 5/333, sk0 works
Alphastation 500/600 are listed as not supported in alpha.html.
However, it seems my Alphastation 600 works just fine (please see dmesg
below), although it should be noted I haven't put it through proper stress
testing yet..
sk(4) is not in the "supported hardware" in alpha.html but it does work here,
a Dlink 530T adapter in this case.

I was not able to upgrade firmware (Srom 1.2) according to the instructions on
ftp.digital.com (due to lacking "AlphaBIOS"?), perhaps someone out there
knows how to update firmware through Srom?

Regards
Johan
