Generally I see LMR cable recommended for wifi antenna cable. LMR-100 for short (< 6 ft) pigtails from the PCMCIA card to the antenna or LMR-400 for longer runs (50-100ft). There are also higher grades of LMR...LMR-600, etc. but it gets expensive (and physically large) fast. The issue at hand is signal loss over long cable runs. Using poor cable may eliminate any gains you may have from a high gain antenna or powerful transmitter.
