Re: VIA new processor: msg#00134network.wireless.seattle.general
Cool. I have a fanles mini itx. It is admirable in many respects. however there are some irritating "features" The usb expansion connector is solid unobtanium. The Pci slot is non standard and doesn't work with anything I have tried in it. I could cure this by installing an usb "extender" but that would obviate some of the advantages for a poe router. Anyway This new one has potential. We will have o see how it is implemented. By the way I also have a really old 486sx via mini that I used to use as a test bed for testing cards many years ago. 4 isa slots. Ser / par. and that's it. I would put it on a magazine on the bench with a PS. Might work for a free router. I'll throw in ISA cards.
