RP-TNC style connector and antenna required?: msg#00123network.wireless.seattle.general
Greetings: When I was last in Vetco, they didn't seem to ever seen a RP-TNC for the Linksys Router antenna mount. I did find them at http://www.hyperlinktech.com hopefully they will sell me just one. There are several RP-TNC styles for different cables. Am I correct in assuming, to gain the widest Wallingford neighborhood coverage, the best antenna is to go with the $100 omni I saw at Vetco? Therefore does anyone know, is that the RG6, RG58 or another style RP-TNC connector I need? To stay within the law, does anyone know the Linksys router without antenna power output? What the Vetco $100 antenna gain is? -- Please advise, thanks.
