Subject: Re: Free BW thru my portal?

Anyone have any comments on the security of the captive portal setup? One criticism I've seen is even before people sucessfully log in they're on the system, so they may not have access to your network or Internet connection, but two people could communicate with eachother through your access point, and they do have a target for attacks. Conversely, if you have some 802.1x based authentication, for instance, they don't have this access.

Greetings:

I would like to provide free bandwidth to the internet with my WiFi
Access Point. But I would like to limit access only through my own
display portal, banner, etc. Does anyone or can they refer to who can
tell how to do this or who provides such application package?

Please advise, thanks.

Chuck
