I'm talking about the one referenced in the parent post. It's a 
MicroPlus MP-U11. It has an Atmel chipset, which is supported by the 
atmel sourceforge driver, so it does run in Linux. My question was if 
anyone else had that specific adapter and had opened it up to hack it 
for an external antenna.
