I suspect I'm not the only one who wonders about the details of the "cell to
cell part".

Is this in a controled physical area, like a racetrack? Or are you just
thinking up putting up your own wireless network along all roads in the USA?

This a $800 project or $2,000,000?

Building one large network is not trivial, building two is even more of a
project :)

I would like to do a demo of a high performance wireless network that
consists of
a 1 mbit video stream being sent from a moving vehicle. The video must
arrive without any
packet loss and without interruptions as the mobile unit moves from cell to
cell.

I think that the best way is to build two networks and have a packet
splitter that duplicates
the traffic (ie, creates two 1mbit streams) and sends one over each
network. The receiving end would throw away duplicates. This should help
eliminate lost packets due to noise and to the switchover between
cells. We could also use some FEC to help with occasional lost
packets. Any thoughts?
