Bug found in Thinstation 2.0: msg#00076network.thinstation.devel
When using ICA, if I specify both ICA_SERVER=192.168.38.21 and SESSION_1_ICA_APPLICATION_SET="desktop" (I have to specify the server because it is not on the same LAN segment as the Thinstation) then the resulting appsrv.ini contains no section for the application. Instead it has a [192.168.38.21] section with the same content as the usual [desktop] section. For now I have solved the problem by putting the following line in packages/base/etc/init.d/network: echo "192.168.38.21 desktop" >> /etc/hosts and changing thinstation.conf.network form ICA_SERVER=192.168.38.21 to ICA_SERVER=desktop This was not a problem in 2.0 beta 3 (as far as I can recall), but it has been broken at least since beta 5 - I am not sure about beta 4. It is still broken in 2.0 final. I only recently figured out, what was going wrong; otherwise I'd have reported it earlier. Klaus Bech Jensen, Denmark |
