RE: Font problem: msg#00049network.thinstation.devel
what version are you using? -----Original Message----- From: Gonçalo Pereira [mailto:goncalo-JoWug7O7JtJeoWH0uzbU5w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, 8 June 2004 02:45 a.m. To: thinstation-developer-5NWGOfrQmneRv+LV9MX5uipxlwaOVQ5f@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Thinstation-developer] Font problem Hello everyone: Heres the situation: - If you use rdesktop to connect to a win 2003 TS using thinsation, try opening a notepad and enter every character. See if there is character corruption on some of them. I do have in "V" and "X" for instance. - First I blamed rdesktop but then I tried running rdesktop 1.3.1 on my Linux workstation and everything is fine. No character corruption whatsoever. - I browsed the logs for something strange with little success. Only three lines from the X Server complaining about not beeing able to open an "inet6 socket" which is maybe an IPV6 connection. I then configured another machine to be a font server and pointed the clients to it with not success also (clients connect but the corruption continues). Any help would be appreciated. I can post some screenshots if you want. Best regards, Gonçalo Pereira ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. |
