This may be of interest: http://www.hackdiary.com/archives/000038.html Expressing XMLTV listings in RDF, which means they can be used alongside RSS 1.0. Not many RSS aggregators would support this out of the box, but those which take advantage of the RDF model would get you most of the way, and there are quite a few RDF tools that could very easily do useful stuff with material like this pretty immediately - e.g. a preset query through Intellidimension's search portal [1] could provide customised listings.
