an archive feed doesn't allow entries to move around (eg. move to the head
of the feed when modified/updated) ... meaning it would require an entire

Using the terminology of the Feed History draft would IMHO be a Good Thing. I am +1 on it.

Specifying that every collection has to be an Archive Feed per Feed History would be a Bad Thing, though, since the restriction that entries are not allowed to be moved freely might places an improper burden on implementations. Eric is right about that. If that's what he meant by -1 I'll second it.

It is possible, however, that in *some* cases your collection can be turned not only into a Paged Feed but a Archive Feed as well. See <http://www.imc.org/atom-protocol/mail-archive/msg06571.html> for an example where this is possible.
