2 problems

I have two problem which are separate but related.  The first is that 
the latest stunnel for RH7.2 from RedHat (stunnel-3.26-1.7.3.i386.rpm) 
is having problems.  We are using it as a wrapper for a pop3 server. 
After some time (a few hours), it stops working.  The connections are 
accepted but there is no SSL startup.  Restarting stunnel makes it work 
again for another while.  I have currently rolled back to a working 
version so I don't have any debug to share but I though this might be a 
wide spread problem.

The second problem is related in the sense that I wrote a script to 
check that the spop was working correctly.  I have a version which uses 
echo and grep and a version which uses chat (from pppd).  The problem is 
that stunnel appears to terminate before I can finish reading all the 
output from the server.  I assume as soon at the server closes the 
connection, stunnel is terminating and not waiting until the execed 
process has read all the available output.

Any help on either of these issues would be appreciated.
