Stunnel V4 client mode: msg#00031network.stunnel.user
Hi all. I've been using stunnel 3.26 to transport all my syslogs to a central logging machine. I'm using syslog-ng, which does syslog over TCP. Anyway, I'm attempting to upgrade to stunnel version 4.04 (ie. Redhat 7.2 to Fedora Core 1), and am having a little trouble with the client config. The problem is that when I run stunnel, stunnel just sits there instead of going into the background. I've included my config file below. If anyone can see what I'm doing wrong, please let me know. Thanks! -------------------------- chroot = /var/run/stunnel/ # PID is created inside chroot jail pid = /stunnel.pid setuid = nobody setgid = nobody debug = local6.err foreground = no accept = localhost:syslog connect = logging:syslogs # Use it for client mode client = yes -------------------------- -- Tim Nelson Systems Administrator Sunet Internet Tel: +61 3 5241 1155 Fax: +61 3 5241 6187 Web: http://www.sunet.com.au/ Email: sysadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxx |
