Subject: multi-homrd hosts on same network - msg#00003

Howdy -

I have several hosts, all on the same segment.
They each have two interfaces on this segment.

If I configure both interfaces for each server in spread.conf, will spread accept this and work?

For example:

Spread_Segment 10.10.10.0:4903 {
hosta-0 10.10.10.10
hosta-1 10.10.10.20
hostb-0 10.10.10.11
hostb-1 10.10.10.21 hostc-0 10.10.10.12
hostc-1 10.10.10.22 }

(Spread Version 3.17.03)

Thanks!

Spread on OpenVMS (DEC) Alpha?

Hello all, I'm looking into porting Spread to run under OpenVMS on a set of legacy DEC/Compaq/HP Alphas to integrate with existing Linux and Windows boxes as a general replacement for DECMessageQueue. Since OpenVMS doesn't support autotools AFAICT, compiling and linking look to be pretty tedious. Has anybody on the list attempted to run Spread under OpenVMS?  I am concerned that there might be some show-stopper that I'd rather know about sooner than later! Thanks for any feedback, Norm Petterson _______________________________________________ Spread-users mailing list Spread-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.spread.org/mailman/listinfo/spread-users
