Problem with linux-2.6.7 and openvpn: msg#00459network.openvpn.user
Hi List, I searched the archives, but did not found the apropriate problem: Here for what I have experienced: - Linux 2.6.7 - openvpn (2.0 beta5), openvpn 1.6 and openvpn 1.5 - router connected via DSL - other-site of tunnel: openvpn 1.4 - other-site-connection: static internet connected - transport udp: - Startsyntax: dev tun remote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ifconfig 192.168.130.1 192.168.130.3 up /etc/openvpn/skript.uup secret /etc/openvpn/static_key rport 8734 user nobody group nobody verb 5 ping 60 ping-restart 240 persist-key persist-tun If I start the tunnel, it comes up, and I can ping the other side 192.168.130.3 without any problem If I enter: route add -net 195.95.245.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.130.3 the running ping stops. and in --verb 5 I got a lot of data sending. and then I got UDP buffer out of memory 105 errors on mass. Thats it... Anybody seeing this in any kind ?? I do not think, that it is a problem of the 1.4 on the oter side ?? because, after entering the network-route the problem occours. Looks like something on 2.6. tun-driver side ??
