you can have individual config files on the server as well.
You could probably get by with the same config files on all the clients.
I made some scripts that builds a .zip file for windows users, that i will
share when i get arround getting them finished.


Also, the certificate locations in the example conf files appear relative to
the openvpn base directory. Can an absolute path (say /usr/share/ssl/certs/ )
be utilized?

i think so. I just put everything into the same dir as the config files on the client end.
