As mentioned in the release notes, I want to make the default  
$OPENNMS_HOME/etc files as vanilla as possible, with example now  
moved to the examples directory.

I need to clean a few more up, but the hope is that by 1.4.0 you  
won't ever need to merge any files but datacollection and snmp-graph.
