[opennms-devel] A Compile Problem

Hi,

I am trying to become an entry-level OpenNMS
integrator:-) 

Using a good example to start with I took "Hands-on
JMX integration"
(http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-jmx3/)
and revised the author's java code to make my own.

When compiling it javac seemed to be able to resolve
class AbstractPlugin but not class IPv4Monitor,
NetworkInterface or
NetworkInterfaceNotSupportedException. But ALL four
classes are in the same file: opennms_services.jar
which is in CLASSPATH.

What could be the cause of the problem? Please bear
with me, I am not a very experienced java developer:-(
