But really: this is a large project. I don't think we have any concrete plans to convert completely to Hibernate by a certain date, but I do think that where possible, we will use it for new projects going forward. We were using it as the back-end for one of our projects last week, but had to back off because mapping the current database structure to Hibernate turns out to be a non-trivial exercise.

Lastly, we're very happy to take community submissions, and one of the nice things about Hibernate support is that it can be done in pieces.
