transport input all
stopbits 1
speed 57600
flowcontrol hardware
line vty 0 4
password testing
login

Router is showing following error :

04:48:05: TTY225: detection speed (9600) response ---`8<---
04:48:09: TTY225: detection speed (2400) response ---`8<---
04:48:12: TTY225: detection speed (1200) response ---`8<---
04:48:15: TTY225: detection speed (300) response ---`8<---
04:48:19: TTY225: detection speed (115200) response ---`8<---
04:48:22: TTY225: detection speed (57600) response ---`8<---
04:48:25: TTY225: detection speed (38400) response ---`8<---

When i dial into the modem it is giving password prompt but it not taking

12.2(12)a for 7200

Hi all, We are looking to upgrade 7200s to 12.2 stream. 12.2(12) has been withdrawn from CCO. Has anyone used 12.2(12)a? Any known problem with it? We have ATM and ISDN connections in one 7200 box. How about 12.2(13)? Re: router modem connection

worry about the router not detecting the modem. what cable are you using between them? you should turn on "exec" under the line. since you have "login local" configured it should ask for a username THEN a password...so if it is just asking for a password i would assume that is the password feature built in to the USR modem. joshd. ----- Original Message ----- From: "arun yadav yadav" <aruncisco@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <cisco-nsp@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, October 29, 2002 9:44 PM Subject: [nsp] router modem connection Dear All, I m connecting a US robotics modem( courier V.everything) to a cisco 3662 router on AUX port but aux port is not detecting the modem.
