RE: SNMP listening ports

Dear Niels, thank you for your comment. 

Do you know what can be done to prevent snmpd to open a specific udp port , 
e.g. 1024 ?

Should I tweak the source code ?

And an open port does not mean that anybody is listening at it. It could
very well be a transmit-only port.
