Subject: RE: generating code for traps with mib2c

Thanks Dave, I' ve just tried it and that is what has happened.

# mib2c -c mib2c.notify.conf tsw
Can't find a configuration file called mib2c.notify.conf
I looked in:
.
/usr/local/share/snmp/
#

I have mib2c.scalar.conf but it seems that I don't have the mib2c.notify.conf
file. Isn't it included with the net-snmp-5.1 source code tarball ? Any
suggestion ?

Best regards,

David

I'll leave Wes to comment on the 'mib2c.conf' driving script.

But if you run mib2c with the 'mib2c.notify.conf' configuration file,
this is designed to generate a template for sending a trap.
(In fact, that's actually what 'mib2c.conf' calls internally anyway!)

Try running that by hand - see if you have any better luck.
