URGENT: help with overriding the value for sysObjectID.0: msg#00291network.net-snmp.user
I added the following line to /usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf file to override the default value for sysObjectId.0, so that the agent will return an oid that identifies our own device: override sysObjectID.0 object_id 1.3.6.1.4.1.13699.10 But when I did a get on the sysObjectId, it give me the following: bash-2.05b$ snmpwalk -c public -v 2c udp:lab12:161 sysObjectId SNMPv2-MIB::sysObjectID.0 = OID: SNMPv2-SMI::org Can anybody help me? Thanks in advance.
