Subject: generating code for traps with mib2c

Hi all,

I 've been playing with mib2c on my Red Hat 9 and SuSE 8.2 linux boxes and I
haven't been able to generate code for traps.

I have designed a litle private MIB under the experimental node with some
scalars and some traps. Running mib2c generates the code for the scalars, but
nothing is generated for the traps. I selected the new Net-SNMP coding style
and then generic scalars (option 1).

After that I added a table to the MIB. Running mib2c, get an error:

.
.
.
******************************
GENERATING CODE FOR TABLES
******************************

Would you like to generate code for sending notifications from within the agent?

"y" or "n": y
String found where operator expected at (eval 122) line 1, at end of line (Do
you need to predeclare y?)
.
.
.

and after all, at the generated files there is only the code corresponding to
the table and there is nothing about the scalars and the traps.

Does anybody knows what's wrong?

By the way, Is there anybody running NET-SNMP on embedded devices with QNX ?

Best regards,

David
