sub-agent

Hi All,
      I am a new user of net-snmp-5.1. I would appreciate if you could solve
following queries:

1.        Can I run Master agent and sub-agent on two different machines? If
yes, how do i specify the master agent's IP address? In the subagent example
code written in tutorial 5 available on net-snmp website, nothing is
mentioned about passing master agent's IP address.
2.     I was trying to send a trap from sub-agent. In the .conf file for
sub-agent I mentioned the manager's IP address and port number. I guess,
subagent should have created the trap session after reading the config file,
which's not happening and the call to send_v2trap() is printing "snmpd:
unknown pdu type" however if i call create_trap_session() and then call
send_v2trap() , it works!!
3. On the subagent side, In create_trap_session() which IP address should i
pass Master agent/Manager? 

  would be thankful to you, if you could tell me which API should i use to
send trap from a sub-agent to a master-agent running on the same machine?

      if you have any sample code, that would be highly appreciated!
