net-snmp-5.0.9: how to avoid libcrypto.so?: msg#00258network.net-snmp.user
Hello, I am trying to install a net-snmp mini agent on an embedded system with limited memory. One of the bigger libraries I would like to avoid is libcrypto.so (abt 960kB). I could not find the proper net-snmp configure switch to disable the use of that library. I tried --disable-privacy, but that did not work. What are the configure options I need? ./configure --help did not help me in this case... I remember vaguely that this topic appeared in this list some time ago, but I could not find the relevant article in the archive. Any help will be very much appreciated, Wolfgang ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
