net-snmp v5.1 PID file specifying: msg#00254network.net-snmp.user
Hi, I have a question about how to create PID file. In legacy ucd-snmp, I can create PID file by specifying "-P" option with snmpd. In net-snmp v5.1, it say "Warning: -P option is deprecated, use -p instead" . Can anyone please tell me how to specify PID file for v5.1 snmpd daemon ? or how to stop snmpd daemon correctly ? Because, in some case, I'm running some snmpd in same system by changing port number. thanks, --- takumi kadode ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
