Hi,
I still did not get any solution for this. I found that this happens often on
Linux and Windows systems. Can anyone please provide me some help.
Thanks,
Rajesh
Hi,
When I am performing a SET for a table implemented using the table handler
(mib2c -c mib2c.array-user.conf) the agent crashes if the OID specified is
invalid. This happens when the oid is within the table subtree but an invalid
column or index is provided. For .e.g a SET for the table column
.1.3.6.1.4.1.3000.1.2.1.2.2 (where index=2, column=2, entry=1) with a extra
subid like .1.3.6.1.4.1.3000.1.2.1.2.1.2 (note the extra 1 between the 2s)
leads to a crash.
The debugger (windows) shows a illegal memory access occuring somewhere in
table_handler.c inside the group_requests() function. I am using net-snmp-5.0.8
release.
Has anybody came across this problem?. If so what is the solution to prevent
the crash?
Thanks
Rajesh
