It is single threaded and processes one by one.

I'm not really qualified to answer AgentX questions (and really
unqualified to answer ActieveX questions), so take this with a grain
of salt: 

Agentx support has been around for awhile and I have not seen too many
complaints recently... so maybe a '6' or a '7'.

I believe the master and the sub agents are completely separate
processes so the communication between them is asynchronous but
Net-SNMP as the master agent will still be a single thread.
