Good day everyone.
I am new to this list, and I have joined because I
have a question on "how to implement an extended snmp
agent in unix platform".
if the questions listed below is not applicable for
this mailing list, please provide information on where
shall i forward my questions or please just ignore..
i am currently reading through the source code of
net-snmp v5.0. However, i hope that someone can
provide me some assistance..
(1) how can i create a subagent/extended agent?
(1.1) is it correct that i must create an equivalent
file for:
(a) nstAgentModuleObject.c
(b) nstAgentModuleObject.h
compile it to produce a nstAgentModuleObject.so
(1.2) load the nstAgentModuleObject.so when
running/starting the "snmpd".
how do i do this?
(2) if there is already source code for (1) above,
where can i find it?
