Re: Problem with Nagios 1.0: msg#00389network.nagios.user
Does anyone know of a problem with restarting Nagios every hour? Will it affect monitoring? Does it keep track of when last checked, and when it should be checked again? I still can't figure out why nagios is losing it's log file and thinking that it's not running. It seems after (a random amount of time between 5 mins and an hour) nagios will seem to get confused and 'forget' that it's actually runing. It will continue to monitor/page you with problems.. But when you go to the webpage, and try to acknowledge problems, etc It says "the nagios process could not be found", etc, etc, etc. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.NET email is sponsored by: SourceForge Enterprise Edition + IBM + LinuxWorld = Something 2 See! http://www.vasoftware.com |
