check_ssh: Warning: Return code of 139: msg#00040network.nagios.plugins
This morning I was having network problems. All of my hosts are being check for ssh connectivity with the check_ssh plug-in. This morning after saving the world (bringing all my boxes back up :) I saw the following error on console: Warning: Return code of 139 for check of service 'SSH Check' on host '<hostname>' was out of bounds Segmentation Fault - core dumped This error occurred 8 times for 2 hosts, a total of 16 times. I received the correct notifications but I certainly shouldn't be getting core dumps. A quick search of Google and of the list doesn't turn up much help. Is this a bug in check_ssh? Has anyone run into this before? Any suggestions welcome.
