Philip, maybe someone could create an option for this behaviour as probably a lot of people would like to send messages with enter (for me, I'm used to send with alt+s). I cannot even remember one client which doesn't support sending messages with enter and basically every feature request is a good reason to implement as it would mean at least one more happy user.
