Daniel. Compare your utils.py to the one in PyMSNt.
I've removed all direct references to xish. Now everything goes through 
tlib.xmlw, which determines what Twisted version, xish, words version 
is available and wraps things neatly.

It was a little fudgey, but it works now :)
