Re: SOCKS Proxy support in Irssi?

Actually it says in the manual that the /set proxy settings have nothing
to do with Socks.

So I am confused as to why irssi allows one to build in socks support if
it is never used for anything. Or it does support Socks proxies but it is
just not documented.
