oh... I'd forgotten about that!

the quickest (though unsafe) way to make it compile on Linux is:

 gcc -o icbirc icbirc.c icb.c irc.c -Dstrlcpy=strncpy

better would be to grab a strlcpy replacement from somewhere (say rsync) 
and compile that in.
